THE POLO PROJECT 'DESIGN FOR GOOD'

This T shirt design on the iconic Ralph Lauren Polo T shirt is in response to the Polo Project- ‘Design for Good’. The intention was to visually depict a message that was motivational and conveyed hope during the trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Despite the swirl of uncertainty that the world is seeing today, with each challenge there is also opportunity. One would assume mandates of physical distancing, amidst this global pandemic, would limit our ways of life and put an inevitable strain on our relationships. Yet, as a community we have adapted and shown resilience. This Polo Shirt design similarly exemplifies heartwarming selflessness, with the iconic Ralph Lauren Polo man responsibly distancing himself from his beloved horse. However, though physically distanced they are more bonded than ever, as they both spend time together watching a traditional Polo Match and hoping for a future of togetherness. This momentary distance has indeed gifted us with the time to create heartening bonds worth a lifetime. That to me is hope.
